500 full-color Angelic Illustrations from the Judeo/Christian Religions.
When William Blake was eight years old he saw tree full of Angels. Few of us have been blessed by such visions, but we all have an idea of what Angels look like - eternally young, winged, haloed, floating among clouds. Artists have portrayed them as divine messengers of God, spiritual guides and protectors of man. Angels in Art History captures a myriad of angels portrayed by artists ranging from Botticelli, Bouguereau, Memling, and Raphael to Rubens, Steinle, Tissot and Weyden. From the first millennium to contemporary times, these divine beings have been represented in oil paintings, sculptures, tapestries, frescoes, stained glass, prints, manuscript illuminations, and mosaics. This enchanting art book on dvd visually surveys every aspect of artist's age-old attraction with this irresistible subject.

The Savior of the world. What more can be said about the greatest person that ever lived. If you don't know who Jesus Christ is, get a Bible, your life will be forever transformed. The New Testament of the Bible is the best source of information about Jesus Christ, the Son of Man.
This image presentation is very personal to me, as it represents salvation. I accepted Christ as a teenager in the 1970s, but never fully submitted myself to him. Like many teens I walked away from my faith and constantly struggled with life. The Lord brought me to my knees in June of 2006, and I will never turn my back on him again. I pray that everyone would give him a chance, to witness the transforming power Jesus offers, as well as his Gift of eternal salvation.
The image gallery contains the most beautiful historical portraits of Jesus I've found. Many are detail images from larger scenes, as I wanted to present close-up expressions that often get lost in a larger scene. All aspects of Christ's adult life are presented within the gallery. Inspiring paintings of Jesus healing the sick and blind, the Garden of Gethsemane, the transfiguration and Jesus with the children. Emotionally touching images of his betrayal, the flagellation, the crucifixion, deposition and resurrection. Uplifting images of Christ as Consolator, giving his blessing and the Sermon on the Mount. Plus, dozens of other bible themes and parables illustrated.
Some of histories greatest artists are presented in the gallery. Wonderful paintings by Carl Bloch and Caravaggio, Raphael, Antonella da Messina and Diego Velazquez, Hans Memling, William Bouguereau and Sir Anthony van Dyck. Beautiful illustrations by Currier and Ives, Gustave Dore, Albrecht Durer and Eugene Delacroix. Over 150 different artists covering every aspect of Jesus adult life.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was thus: His mother, Mary, that is, having been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit. But Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and unwilling to expose her publicly, purposed to have put her away secretly; but while he pondered on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take to thee Mary, thy wife, for that which is begotten in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for He shall save his people from their sins. Now all this came to pass that might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord, through the prophet, saying, Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which is, being interpreted, 'God with us.'
But Joseph, having awoke up from his sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had enjoined him, and took to him his wife, and knew her not until she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus. Matthew 1:18-25.
